Thanks for visiting Alan Rampling Extensions. We are a small family run business carrying out home extensions, renovations and conversions. We have over 40 years experience working with homeowners in and around the Wigan, Chorley and Bolton area. Whatever you are considering to extend your home then we will have a solution for you.

We carry out all types of extensions and conversions including - single storey extensions - 2 storey extensions- garage conversions - loft conversions - home renovations - orangeries - conservatories.

How we work with you

Its a simple process to work with us. Simply send your plans to alanramplingextensions@gmail.com we will then take a look at your proposals and provide you with a no obligation quotation back to you within 3-4 working days dependent on the complexity of your scheme. When you receive your quotation then this will stand for a full 30 days for you to decide if you wish to progress on to the next stage to work with us.

If you decide to accept our quote then we will forward you a small schedule of works in addition to a staged payment plan which must be signed before work commences.

Your payments will be due at key stages of the project i.e deposit to start the work and next payment due after the foundations are complete etc etc.

Your project will be completely managed throughout the build and we will liaise with the Building Inspector, Engineer and Architect when required so everything runs smoothly. We will be under contract with you and all our work is fully guaranteed and we hold PL insurance of £1m to protect you and any other persons or property throughout. Payment Plans

When you accept our quote we will then go to work and draw up your payment plan for your project. This can vary on the extent and the complexity of the scheme. But as an example this is how we normally structure it..

• Deposit before work commences

• 2nd payment on completion of foundations

• 3rd payment on 50% completion of brickwork

• 4th payment on full completion of brickwork

• 5th payment on completion of roofwork

• 6th payment on completion of 1st fix electrics and plumbing

• 7th payment on completion of plasterwork

• Final payment on completion of the work and sign off from the Building Inspector.
